A Valentine Message for You...
Last week I was interviewed for a radio show called Positive Living with Patricia Raskin. At first I thought this was a great idea to reach my audience and attempt to attract more clients. However, when I sat down to think about what I wanted to talk about, what came up was the question “What is the message I want to get out?” So many people I talk to are looking for safer, natural ways to improve their health. More and more people are realizing that the fad DIEts and quick fixes are not working for long term weight loss an
Support and Be Supported
I’m about to take one of the most exciting trips of my life! More on that later, but first..
How does vulnerability impact your health?
So, this week’s topic changed at the last minute because I watched a video that blew me away and I knew right away I needed to share this information with all of you. I think that everyone of us can relate. For example, I’m sure you can think of a handful of things right now that make you feel vulnerable.
3 Ways to Motivate Your Health in 2012...
The Secret To Fast Recovery...

Over the last month or so I have run into many people, myself included, who have complained about nagging coughs, congestion or other cold symptoms that just won’t seem to go away. All of these people that I have had interactions with have said that they have either had the symptoms for 2 or more weeks with no change or have seen them subside only to ramp back up again. All of these people could not seem to understand why these annoying symptoms would not just go away.
To Give or Receive?...

As the holiday of giving draws closer, I am frequently reminded how much every act of kindness means, even when we think something is so small it barely feels like giving at all.
What are your possibilities for 2012?
A few days ago, I was on my coach doing some work and my oldest son Everett, who is 21, came in to make his daily appearance. Since my husband was traveling and my younger son lives at school, it was just the two of us and we got to chatting. It was one of those rare moments that I didn’t want to end. We talked about things like the economy, politics, family and of course the antics of a 21 year old. This weekend I am in Maine with my youngest son Samuel, who is 18, for a hockey tournament. Last night neither of us could sleep and we stayed up too late (Sorry coach!) chatting about all sorts of of topics from God and spirituality and what we think happens to our souls to the psychology of how some people think, to his future. As I fell asleep la
More benefits to "Vegging Out!"
My new program, Busy Women Veg Out, is an effective way to transition your way to optimal health with so much taste and support you will never believe what you've done and how easy it was! A large majority of heart disease, high cholesterol, type II diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity is either due to or made worse by consuming animal products. Dr. Neal Barnard, who was one of my teachers and a primary resource for my new health coaching program, explains the realities and dispels some of the myths around a whole plant food diet on. He mentions 2 key points that I communicate with my clients and in my talks. The first is around protein and calcium and where would we get it if we are not eating meat and consuming dairy.
Cure for Diabetes?
Did you know that Diabetes and Heart Dis-ease are linked? Did you know that if you have Diabetes you are very likely to also have or get Heart Dis-ease? Although Type II Diabetes is due to too much glucose in the blood, the true root cause is related to the same issues as someone with a clogged artery: fat. Yep! Essentially fat prevents the ability for glucose and other essential nutrients to get into our cells. In turn, the glucose floods the blood and results in Diabetic symptoms such as kidney damage, nerve damage, eye functioning and more. BUT! There is some really great news here!
